Old Friends & New Babies

Pretty cute don't you think?

Shannon and I

One of my very closest friends from high school and church was in town and we had a lunch date at Chic Fil A. Shannon and I sat and chatted for about an hour and a half. It was great to catch up because Shannon has been living on the other side of the country for more than three years. It was really fun to meet baby Logan who was born just one month after David.

Scooter Sunday

Brad's Dad got a new toy scooter (I think it is a little nicer than a scooter but....) We decided to try it out. I must admit it was great fun! And it wasn't even too warm.

David really enjoyed playing around in the grass while his Mom and Dad took turns riding around.

Happy Birthday Kimmie

We had the traditional celebration for Kimmie's June 19th birthday today. She is now 24. We finally got to meet her friend Brent. Danielle and Brooke played a duet for us as well. We all really enjoyed being there and David really liked the applesauce that Grandma gave to him (again).

Countrywide Financial

Brad has been anicipating today for awhile--two weeks notice day. I got a call from him around 1pm that he was coming home for good--with the two extra weeks of pay. He'd hoped to get "walked" and it worked! Even though Brad's decided that saving the world one CD or investment product at a time is not what he wants to do forver his job really has been the most WONDERFUL blessing. He's had well over two months vacation since starting in August--almost all of that has been paid. He's also learned quite a bit about morgages before he switched departments. And of course his investment banking experience will pay off when we actaully have somthing to invest. Thanks Brad for making the hour drive to Chandler and hanging in there all of this time. We sure appreciate all of your hard work.

Swim Party

David really enjoyed his most recent trip to the pool. He was kicking, splashing, and smiling the whole time. I was so busy watching David, taking pictures, and running the camcorder that I forgot to photograph the rest of the Cammack clan that was there. Nate and Jared wanted to show me the new things they could do since they've been in swim lessons so we decided to have a family BBQ and pool party for FHE. Almost everyone that lives here was able to make it. We only missed Gina and Grandpa.

Father's Day

David's first ball given to him by Grandma Kathy--of course!

David and Grandpa sleeping--they were worn out from the long day

We had a really nice Father's Day except for the fact that I didn't make Brad breakfast. Apparently this is somewhat of a tradition in the Cammack family and I certainly failed this year! Brad's really been a wonderful Dad; he takes care of David so well; I usually don't have to do much when he is home. Sometimes I think he'd prefer that I go to work and he stay at home. :) I gave Brad some shower gel that he likes and David bought him an electric razor. We visited my stepdad and while we were there David got his very first ball. You should have seen him chasing it around--lots of action. Then we stopped by and visited Brad's Dad. David and Grandpa were very tired from the day of celebrating Dad's by the end.

Molly's Blessing

It was Molly's blessing today. Molly is the new baby of one of Brad's bestest friends Dan Van Tienderen from high school and the ward he grew up in.

I dunno, think he's interested?!
