Today it was Ward's Berry Farm for Pumpkin picking. I feel as though I'm making up for not experiencing real seasons as an adolescent. We waited for the hayride. David wanted to push this guy around in his stroller. You would think he had done it before.
Hopefully Jackson was enjoying the ride!
Mom with her two boys--sporting the backpack.
Janelle, it was amazing! I don't know how I lived without it...
David was small to be playing on the high haystacks, but what can you do? Oh. That sweater holds an awful lot of hay.
Fresh Corn
The hay ride was informative. The kids and moms got to touch and eat an array of picked-straight-from-the-field fruit and veggies as we drove to the pumpkin patch.
William chewing brussel sprouts
Will was wearing a borrowed beanie to keep the sun out because the weather was surprisingly lovely. Also David's half eaten apple. I didn't know he could eat one without me cutting it up first.
Practically the only time David paused...it was all about running around the field kicking the orange balls that he later learned were "pums..."
Still holding onto that apple!
Will
I am beginning to realize that I don't photograph him much during outings.
William was partial to the backpack. It was better than the stroller would have been! I felt more comfortable managing both kids this time. I don't think David cared much about the pumpkin he got, but it made for a nice accent to my fall display.
