Crayola Factory

We took advantage of Brad's vacation and headed down to Philadelphia for a long weekend. I've got some friends there and we thought it would be fun to see another big east coast city. Last time we were in Pennsylvania we saw sings for the Crayola Factory and planned this special stop.

Brad and I have these memories of watching Mr. Roger's neighborhood. We both loved the crayon factory episode (and all the ones that showed you how things are made) and were happy to see that Mr. Rogers helped make the 100 billionth Crayola crayon.

This was fun, as with most "factories" it was mostly a museum/activity center that was Crayola themed. Lots of interactive things to do. The boys got tokens to "spend" on a few different products. There was a glass wall you could color on, a crayon making demonstration, an activity with colorful lights, and of course lots of opportunities to color. Our kids were probably a little young for most of it but hey, the big kids wanted to play too!
